✨ Hand Embroidery Workshop ✨ Create Your Own Mini Stitch Book There is nothing quite like the timeless art of hand embroidery. Some use thread like paint, creating stunning pictures on fabric — from intricate landscapes and still life scenes to abstract designs. Each piece becomes a unique work of textile art. Mellymade will be returning to the studio to teach this timeless technique with a modern twist using vibrant threads or subtle, depending on your own style. Embroidery stitches and techniques have been passed down for generations, and I’m excited to be able to offer this workshop where we can share some of them with you. Let’s keep this beautiful craft alive and thriving together! 🧵 What You’ll Do: You’ll create a mini embroidery book, using a variety of stitches and their variations. Your book will include: Sample stitch pages Pictorial pages using the stitches you learn Assembling your book with ribbons and beads to finish it off with flair. This workshop is over 3 days, and in order to finish your "Little Book" there may be some work to do at home. 🎨 All Materials Included Once your space is booked, you’ll receive a downloadable PDF with everything you need to know before class. Please bring your lunch, refreshments are included.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Refunds Bookings for the workshops are made months in advance, therefore it can be difficult for me to resell any places at short notice. Workshops require a great deal of planning, financial commitment, supplies and tools, as well as paying staff. As a result, cancellations can result in lost revenue. This will greatly impact on the business. Ideally, I don’t want either of us to be out of pocket. You can cancel your space on a workshop up to two weeks before it takes place. This two-week period allows me the necessary time to try and find someone to fill your place which I will endeavour to do through word of mouth and social media. If I can fill your space you will receive a full refund minus £10 admin fee, to deal with the process of issuing your refund and finding an alternative person to fill your space. However, please appreciate if I am unable to find someone to take your place, you will not receive a refund. I do understand that there are sometimes unavoidable situations so am happy to discuss any exceptional circumstances you may have. To cancel your place on a workshop, please provide me with a written notice via email; jane@fabricpaperscissors.co.uk. Unless I have acknowledged your request, you shouldn’t consider your request delivered! If I don’t respond within three working days, then please send a follow-up email or call me. Refunds will be made in the same way as the payment was made, ie. Payments paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card. Cancellations by Fabric Paper Scissors I am entitled to cancel any group or workshop at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the booking which has been cancelled. In the unlikely event of a cancellation by myself or a guest tutor, I will provide a full refund within 5 days of the workshop date. My liability is only for the cost of the class. If the class is cancelled, you are liable for any costs incurred by you including materials purchased in advance, travel or accommodation.
