Service Description

Join us for a day learning about and celebrating Midsummer or Litha as it is traditionally known as, is one of their eight sabbats during the year. Litha, celebrated at the summer solstice, marks when the sun is at its maximum power and the longest day of the year. Litha celebrations include lighting bonfires, outdoor feasts, and rituals that honour the warmth and light of the sun and the season’s abundance. Hedgewitch will bring further teachings to you, folklore, and crafting. With rituals and an understanding of the importance of the symbols of Litha which are the sun, roses, sunflowers, honeybees, fireflies, sand and water. Spend the day with like-minded souls reconnecting with nature. Late Lunch is included as well as refreshments throughout the day and your evening meal. We will of course be making potions and lotions, gentle crafting and story telling.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations & Refunds Policy This Festival Day involves a great deal of preparation, planning, and advance costs. Please read the following policy carefully before booking. Deposits & Payments A £30 deposit is required to secure your place. Deposits are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member at no extra cost. You must notify me so I can update the booking details. A balance invoice for £50 will be issued on 20th May and will be due for immediate payment. Cancellations by Participants If you cancel with less than 2 weeks’ notice before the event date, no refund will be given. Workshops are planned several months in advance, and last-minute cancellations make it difficult to resell places. Considerable planning, financial commitments, supplies, tools, and tutor fees go into every workshop, so late cancellations result in lost revenue and directly impact the business. How to Cancel or Amend Your Booking Please send written notice via email to: jane@fabricpaperscissors.co.uk Your cancellation or amendment is not confirmed until I have acknowledged your email. If you do not receive a reply within three working days, please send a follow-up email or call. Cancellations by Fabric Paper Scissors I reserve the right to cancel any group or workshop at any time. In the unlikely event that I or a guest tutor must cancel, you will receive a full refund of any deposit and fees paid. Refunds will be issued within 5 days of the workshop date. Liability My liability is limited to the cost of the class only. If a workshop is cancelled, I cannot reimburse expenses such as: Materials purchased in advance Travel costs Accommodation
