The studio is now coming up to its third Christmas and with the uncertainty, upheaval and challenges that 2023 presented,  here's hoping that it is full of celebrations and that 2024 will be calmer.

As I look and plan for 2024, the mantra for the studio next year will be alchemy and mischief. The studio has proven to be a place for personal challenges, laughter and reflection. I am in a privileged position to see people leave the studio a little lighter than when they arrived. We have tears of laughter, along with tears of overwhelming joy too. With this in mind, there will be some additional workshops available in the studio in the coming year. Creating something from nothing and personal achievement can not be underestimated. So look out for some personal development workshops too. It's great to see people's confidence grow.

So what do you intend to do next year, maybe by joining of our workshops you'll find some time for yourself.  One thing is for sure we will continue to eat cake, We've eaten lots of cake, drank builders and fruit teas, and lush hot chocolate.

We have also made memories and friendships too. We've put the world to right, laughed and confided. It's been a blast! It has been a real privilege to welcome some amazing tutors to the studio and equally amazing students. They are all inspirational.

In 2024 we will be welcoming back Clare Bullock, Melanie Missen, Jenny O'Leary, Jayne Good, June Massey, Hedgwitch and Emily Notman. Along with some new tutors Wendy Steer,  Tamara Morton, Angela Williams and Samantha Meadows.

We have guest tutors who are specially selected, creative experts in their field, who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with you my super keen students.

We also now have in stock craft kits from the best UK designers for you to take away and our new department of fripperies will keep you inspired!
